Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 5x8-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday, typical day shift hours)

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments using clinical data, lab values, and weight trends
Develop and adjust individualized nutrition care plans including therapeutic diets and enteral feeding
Monitor resident outcomes and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for coordinated care
Provide targeted nutrition education to residents, families, and staff to support health goals
Maintain accurate documentation and support audits, surveys, and quality improvement initiatives
Contribute to community outreach through education and professional expertise

Qualifications

Registered Dietitian (RD) credential from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
Active North Dakota license as a Registered Dietitian (or eligibility to obtain)
Minimum 2 years of experience in a clinical dietetics setting
Strong assessment and care planning skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Familiarity with long-term care or skilled nursing environments preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in nutritional assessment and care plan development
Knowledge of therapeutic diets, supplementation, and enteral feeding
Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team
Proficient with electronic medical records (experience with Cerner a plus)
Understanding of regulatory standards and survey readiness
