Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during endodontic procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms to maintain a clean, safe environment
- Take and process dental radiographs as needed
- Provide patient education on post-treatment care and oral hygiene
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification or registration in Maryland (or eligible to obtain)
- Radiography certification required
- Experience in endodontics preferred but willing to train the right candidate
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical setting
Knowledge & Skills
- Sterilization and infection control protocols
- Chairside assisting techniques for endodontic treatments
- Digital radiography and record-keeping systems
- Compassionate patient interaction and education
