Education

• # treatment rooms ER CT scans - primary focus
• Certs BLS and National registry required. Minimum 3 years of experience required.
• Cases per day 10-15 cases per day
• EMR Cerner
• Charge Nurse Supervisor M-F.
• Nurse Aides NA
• Monday - Thursday 2pm-11:30pm
• Holidays Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve
• Scrub Color Teal
• RT 24/7 Yes
• Pharmacy 24/7 Pharmacy open 6a-5pm. Nights use main campus if needed but mix their own meds at night.
• Shifts per job posting
• Floating Will cover X-ray as well
• no floating outside of hospital
• Floor specific orientation 1-2 shifts with a preceptor
• Common diagnosis / Types of patients Use Phillips 64 slice. Angio studies, basic CT scans. No perfusion or cardiac studies. Rare biopsy procedures. Could be expected to do x-ray needs if X-ray tech in OR.
• Additional Notes: Needs to be very autonomous and confident in skill. May be the only CT/XR tech in house if the other tech is in the OR. Must be willing to do X-ray or willing to re-learn. Limited to no resources.
