Education

• Certs/ARRT & other specialty certification requirements ARRT (R) ARRT (CT), UT License
• How many scanners/rooms does this department have? 2
• Will they have to float/cover any other areas? Xray
• Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties standard CT imaging including stroke and trauma scanning. Job duties include transporting patient to ER, tech to nurse hand offs, incident reporting when appropriate, stocking room, cleaning up messes and contacting EVS for final cleaning
• Experience or 'Must have' skills Well versed in CT especially for stroke and trauma scans
• Average # of scans/studies per day 35-45
• EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) do they use Epic and FIJI PACS
• Department Specific Equipment (GE, Phillips, Siemens) Phillips 64 Slice and 16 Slice CT scanner, Carestream portable, phillips portable, Dr Room
• Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech Josh Bone
• Do they use RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants)? No
• Radiologist in-house? No
• Do they have to start IV's? (if applicable to the department) Not routinely, but they should know how
• Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?) Tuesday-Friday 730p-6a
