Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents with dignity and respect
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Monitor and document resident conditions and report changes to nursing staff
Support safe transfer and positioning of residents to prevent falls and injuries
Assist with meal setup and feeding while promoting independence
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
Collaborate with the care team to deliver person-centered care plans

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (or equivalent) — Pennsylvania credentials preferred
Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus
Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

High school diploma or GED required; completion of an approved CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on patient care and ADL assistance
Vital signs measurement and basic clinical observation
Infection prevention and safe patient handling techniques
Good charting and documentation practices
Team collaboration and effective communication with residents and families
