Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions to enhance patients' functional abilities
• Assist the lead OT in developing and updating individualized treatment plans
• Document patient progress accurately and timely in the electronic health record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic activities and home exercise programs

Qualifications

• Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in Maryland
• Completion of an accredited OTA program
• Minimum of 0‑1 year clinical experience preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift and assist patients safely

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of occupational therapy techniques and modalities
• Proficiency in patient assessment and outcome measurement
• Familiarity with electronic health record documentation
• Understanding of safety and infection control protocols
• Effective time management and prioritization
