Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate occupational therapy services to patients in a skilled nursing facility
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve daily living skills
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient progress accurately and timely
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and home exercises
• Adapt treatment approaches to meet the unique needs of each resident

Qualifications

• Valid COTA license in the state of Ohio
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• New graduates are welcome to apply - we support your growth!
• Previous experience in SNF or long-term care is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Education

• Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices
• Ability to assess patient needs and adjust treatments accordingly
• Proficiency in documentation and electronic medical records
• Team collaboration and patient education skills
