Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed OT and in line with state, federal and facility guidelines
• Implement therapy interventions that follow each patient's individualized OT plan of care
• Help patients rebuild strength, confidence and functional independence in everyday activities
• Document patient progress accurately and on time so the care team always has the full picture
• Guide patients and their families through education that makes home life safer and easier
• Keep the supervising OT updated on patient status and any changes in condition
• Follow all safety, infection control and compliance protocols to protect every patient and teammate

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Active state COTA license, or the ability and willingness to obtain one
• A genuine passion for patient care and helping people get back to daily life
• Strong teamwork skills and comfort collaborating closely with a supervising OT
• Organized, dependable and ready to jump into a 13 week travel assignment
