Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care for residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Support safe resident transfers and mobility with proper techniques
• Monitor and record basic observations and changes in resident condition
• Follow care plans and report updates clearly to nursing staff
• Practice infection control and follow facility safety procedures
• Treat residents with dignity and respect while promoting independence

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• Able to work per-diem shifts and adapt to flexible scheduling
• Must bring state or federal issued identification and wear a photo badge at all times
• Completed COVID-19 vaccine or documented religious and/or medical exemption required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong resident-focused care and empathy
• Basic observations and documentation skills
• Infection control awareness and proper PPE use
• Good communication and teamwork with nursing staff
• Time management for shift tasks and resident needs
• Safe resident handling and transfer techniques
