Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on direct care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Assist with safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
• Take and document vital signs and report any changes in condition to the nursing team
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and resident observations
• Follow infection control practices and facility policies to keep residents and staff safe
• Wear required identification and photo badge at all times while on assignment

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or state registry status
• State or federal issued photo identification required (bring to facility)
• Completed original or updated COVID-19 vaccine or documented medical/religious exemption as required by employer/facility
• Ability to work the scheduled per-diem shift on 11/10/2026, 2:30 PM - 10:45 PM
• Comfortable following facility onboarding and assignment procedures

Knowledge & Skills

• Comfortable assisting with ADLs (bathing, grooming, toileting, feeding)
• Basic vital signs measurement and patient observation
• Strong communication and teamwork with nurses and interdisciplinary staff
• Good documentation skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of infection prevention and PPE use
• Safe resident handling and transfer techniques
