Shift Type: Days not specified, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening/Night shift)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living—bathing, dressing, grooming—with dignity and respect
Provide compassionate personal care and mobility assistance
Monitor resident condition and promptly report any changes to the nursing team
Document care activities accurately and communicate effectively with staff and families
Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through attentive, person-centered care

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (valid in New Jersey)
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience as a CNA or in a caregiving role is a plus
Ability to pass facility-required background checks and health screenings
Flexible availability for per-diem shifts, including evenings
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Education

High school diploma or GED; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and personal care techniques
Safe transfer and mobility assistance practices
Infection prevention and control procedures
Accurate documentation and charting
Effective communication with residents, families, and care teams
Time management and prioritization during busy shifts
