Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Support safe patient transfers, mobility, and positioning
• Monitor patients and report changes in condition to the nursing team promptly
• Assist with basic clinical tasks under nurse direction to keep care smooth and efficient
• Document care delivered accurately and communicate clearly during shift handoffs
• Create a comforting environment by treating patients and families with respect and empathy

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
• Valid state CNA license and any facility-required credentials
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and adapt to per diem scheduling

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Comfortable assisting with personal care and ADLs
• Knowledge of infection control and basic safety practices
• Good charting and documentation habits
• Ability to follow care plans and report clinical changes
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
• Reliable time management and teamwork in a fast-paced setting
