Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with daily activities like bathing, dressing, and eating
• Monitor and report changes in residents' health and wellbeing to the nursing team
• Support mobility and transfers, ensuring safety and comfort at all times
• Maintain a clean, welcoming environment and follow infection control protocols
• Build meaningful connections with residents, their families, and your healthcare team
• Document care provided and observations accurately in accordance with facility policies

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in New Mexico
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• COVID-19 vaccination or documented medical or religious exemption required
• Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented
• No prior experience required - we're looking for someone eager to learn and make a difference

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of resident care and safety protocols
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to lift and transfer residents safely
• Attention to detail for accurate documentation
• Teamwork and collaboration with interdisciplinary staff
• Time management and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment
