Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care, including feeding, mobility support, and assistance with ADLs
• Follow personalized care plans to honor each resident's goals and preferences
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and positioning using proper equipment and techniques
• Support residents during mealtimes and ensure nutritional safety
• Document care accurately in electronic medical records and communicate changes to the nursing team
• Maintain a clean, safe, and homelike environment for residents
• Engage residents in social activities and promote a sense of community
• Participate in emergency procedures and infection control protocols to keep everyone safe

Qualifications

• Current certification as a CNA on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry
• Active BLS certification
• 2+ years of experience as a CNA
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and safely support residents
• Computer literacy, including experience with electronic medical records
• A compassionate, patient, and flexible approach to care

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of ADL assistance and restorative care
• Skills in feeding assistance and infection control
• Effective communication with residents, families, and team members
• Understanding of dementia care and ventilator care principles
• Familiarity with electronic documentation and patient records
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing needs
