Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care and assistance to patients in an acute rehabilitation setting
• Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living
• Monitor and document vital signs and patient status, reporting changes to the nursing team
• Support patients during therapy sessions and encourage progress
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients
• Collaborate with nurses and therapists to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Texas
• American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification
• Previous experience in acute care, rehab, or long-term care preferred
• A compassionate, patient-focused attitude
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts as scheduled

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow care plans and document accurately
• Basic medical terminology and vital signs monitoring
• Teamwork and collaboration in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding of patient safety and infection control practices
