Location: Santa Maria, California

Start Date: 06-29-2026

End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM. On-call required for evenings and weekends (Friday 3:30 PM to Monday 7:00 AM every other weekend).

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $93 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab and IR suite, including coronary angiograms, stent placements, and peripheral interventions
Assist physicians with advanced procedures such as EP ablations, device implants, and complex vascular cases
Float between Cath Lab, IR, and EP Lab as needed to support patient care and team needs
Operate imaging equipment (Cerner, Xper) and monitor patients' hemodynamic status during procedures
Participate in on-call rotations, responding within 30 minutes for emergent cases
Collaborate with nurses, cardiologists, and radiologists to ensure safe and efficient patient outcomes

Qualifications

Current RCIS or ARRT certification (either accepted)
Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab/IR experience required
EP lab experience and travel experience highly preferred
BLS and ACLS certifications required

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with Cerner EMR and Xper imaging systems
Strong understanding of sterile technique and radiation safety
Ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced team
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
