Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating shifts with on-call duties, weeknight call 1x/week and weekend call 1 weekend/month

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $97 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac, vascular, and neuro procedures in a fast-paced Cath Lab
Scrub and monitor hemodynamics, assisting physicians with coronary, peripheral, and structural heart cases
Prepare and maintain sterile field, operate fluoroscopy and imaging equipment
Administer conscious and moderate sedation, manage cardiac drips, and monitor patient vitals
Rotate on-call for emergent cases, ensuring 24/7 coverage for life-saving interventions
Collaborate with a dedicated team of RNs, techs, and lead tech to deliver exceptional patient care

Qualifications

Current ARRT certification in Radiography
Valid Fluoroscopy license (California or compact state)
BLS certification from AHA
Minimum 1 year of current Cath Lab experience
Comfortable with conscious sedation, airway management, and balloon pumps
No first-time travelers - experienced travelers welcome!

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in cardiac drips (Integrilin, dopamine, vasopressors)
Expertise in STEMI receiving protocols and emergent case management
Skilled in hemodynamic monitoring and procedural processes
Familiarity with EP cases and neuro interventions
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
