Location: Bakersfield, CA

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts with call requirements, including weeknight call 1x/week and weekend call 1 weekend/month (Friday evening to Monday AM)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $97 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac, vascular, and neuro procedures in a high-volume cath lab
Monitor hemodynamics and assist with conscious and moderate sedation
Manage cardiac drips such as Integrilin, dopamine, and vasopressors, as well as balloon pumps
Ensure patient safety and sterile technique during procedures
Collaborate with a team of techs, RNs, and physicians to deliver exceptional care

Qualifications

Current ARRT certification and Fluoro permit required
BLS certification required (ACLS preferred)
Must have current cath lab experience
Comfortable with conscious sedation, airway management, cardiac drips, and balloon pumps

Knowledge & Skills

STEMI receiving facility experience
Expertise in cardiac, coronary, vascular, peripheral, general IR, and neuro interventions
Proficient in procedural processes and hemodynamic monitoring
Strong communication and teamwork skills
