Location: Athens, GA

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with approximately 10 days of call per month (nights & weekends)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures, ensuring a smooth and safe experience for patients
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields, equipment, and supplies for each procedure
- Monitor patient vital signs and hemodynamic data during procedures, alerting the team to any changes
- Educate patients and families about procedures and provide compassionate care before, during, and after
- Collaborate with a dynamic team of cardiologists, nurses, and technologists to deliver high-quality care
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide emergency cardiac care when needed
Qualifications
- Active BLS certification (required)
- Active ACLS certification (required)
- RCIS certification (required)
- EP (Electrophysiology) experience highly preferred
- Strong commitment to patient safety and quality care
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures and equipment
- Experience with hemodynamic monitoring and pressure waveforms
- Understanding of sterile technique and infection control
- Proficiency in EKG interpretation
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with calm professionalism
