Location: Nashua, New Hampshire

Start Date: 07-27-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night Shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 3 shifts per week (36 hours), includes weekends and holidays as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive nursing care for patients on the Geropsychiatric Unit
Conduct mental and physical assessments and monitor patient conditions
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
Provide therapeutic interventions and manage the therapeutic milieu
Maintain accurate documentation including admissions, assessments, progress notes, and discharge plans

Qualifications

Valid New Hampshire RN license required
BLS certification required
Minimum 3 years of nursing experience preferred
Previous psychiatric or geriatric experience a plus
Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred

Education

Associate's degree in Nursing (or diploma from 3-year nursing program) required
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong medical terminology knowledge
Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Point Click EMR
Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Compassionate patient-centered care approach
