Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to adults and seniors
Assess patient status, monitor vital signs, and report changes to the care team
Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and discharge plans
Support quality improvement initiatives and maintain regulatory compliance
Contribute to a positive workplace culture by mentoring colleagues and sharing best practices

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential — RN preferred
Valid nursing license in Maryland (or compact license if applicable)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications welcomed
Comfortable with electronic health records and standard clinical documentation
Strong communication skills and a genuine commitment to patient-centered care
Prior clinical experience in a long-term care or facility setting is a plus

Education

Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) or nursing diploma; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Solid nursing fundamentals and clinical assessment skills
Medication administration and IV/SC/IM experience where applicable
Familiarity with infection control practices and safety protocols
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to support patients and families
Problem-solving mindset and a focus on continuous improvement
