Location: Kearney, Nebraska

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM or 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with call rotation (one weeknight/week and three weekend days/month)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist surgeons during a wide variety of surgical procedures in a fast-paced OR environment
Prepare and maintain sterile surgical fields and equipment
Anticipate surgeon needs and effectively pass instruments and supplies
Operate advanced surgical technologies including Da Vinci robotics, Mako, Stealth, and Scopis
Take call for emergencies and scheduled surgeries, ensuring timely response
Collaborate with a dynamic team of surgeons, nurses, and anesthesiologists to ensure patient safety

Qualifications

Current BLS certification
CST certification preferred but not required
Minimum 1-2 years of OR experience with orthopedic trauma and neuro cases
Ability to independently perform cranial procedures
Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to float and take call as needed

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical instrumentation
Skilled in orthopedic total joint and trauma procedures
Ability to work with robotic surgical systems (Da Vinci, Mako)
Familiarity with EPIC EMR system
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Adaptability and willingness to learn new procedures
