Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8/10/12-hour shifts with varied start times; on-call rotation including weekends and holidays with 30-minute response time

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist in a variety of cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries using state-of-the-art robotics (da Vinci Xi)
Prepare and maintain a sterile field, ensuring all instruments and equipment are ready for each procedure
Collaborate closely with surgeons, RNs, and the care team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
Participate in on-call rotations to cover emergency and weekend cases
Contribute to a high-volume OR suite performing 22-45 cases daily across multiple specialties

Qualifications

Active Washington State Surgical Tech license required
BLS certification (AHA) required
Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
Previous experience in CVOR or cardiac surgery preferred
Willingness to learn robotic procedures (training provided)

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records
Familiarity with da Vinci Xi robotic system (preferred, not required)
Strong sterile technique and instrument knowledge
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
