Roles & Responsibilities

• Screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders
• Develop personalized treatment plans using evidence-based practices and standardized assessments
• Monitor patient progress and adjust interventions to achieve the best outcomes
• Provide compassionate counseling and education to patients, families, and caregivers
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination
• Document all services accurately and maintain thorough patient records
• Supervise and mentor CFY or student Speech-Language Pathologists
• Obtain necessary DME and supplies to support patient care needs

Qualifications

• Active Missouri State License as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• CCC certification from ASHA
• At least 1 year of SLP experience in LTC or Rehab settings
• New grads welcome with Level II clinical experience
• Strong commitment to ethical practice and regulatory compliance

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active ASHA certification and state licensure

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
• Proficiency with standardized assessments and evidence-based interventions
• Excellent documentation and clinical record-keeping abilities
• Effective communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
• Ability to supervise and support developing clinicians
