Location: Kansas City, Missouri

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with rotating weekends
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert speech therapy services across acute care and inpatient rehab units
- Conduct bedside swallow evaluations and support patients on their recovery journey
- Collaborate with a dynamic team in a level 1 trauma and comprehensive stroke center
- Deliver compassionate care to a diverse patient population in both acute and rehab settings
- Document patient progress using Meditech and contribute to meaningful outcomes
Qualifications
- Active Missouri SLP license
- At least 1 year of experience in speech therapy
- Strong clinical skills in acute care and inpatient rehab
- Experience with bedside swallow evaluations preferred
- Ability to work flexible schedules including rotating weekends
Education
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Missouri state licensure
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient with TIMS equipment and Meditech documentation
- Comfortable floating between acute care and rehab units
- Excellent communication and patient-centered approach
- Adaptable to a fast-paced, diverse clinical environment
