Roles & Responsibilities

Function as a lead resource for the Patient Logistics Coordinator team
Utilize superior communication skills with staff, leadership, and customers
Monitor and appropriately escalate any delays in patient transfer management
Monitor RightFax folder to ensure timely and appropriate fax management
Ensure Command Center Displays are functional and updated weekly
Assist in developing an effective training program for new staff
Monitor all chats for timely response and support directing transfers
Alert leadership to potential issues and backlogs
Support daily and monthly reports as directed

Qualifications

2+ years working in a healthcare setting, preferably in bed placement and/or transfer center capacity
Associate degree or equivalent work experience demonstrating leadership function
Proven proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications
Proficient or able to become proficient within 3 months with Google Workspace
Excellent verbal and electronic communication skills, including professional telephone and email etiquette
Ability to type minimum of 50 words per minute without mistakes
Knowledge of levels of care and basic medical terminology
Ability to work independently and apply critical thinking skills
Ability to multi-task and prioritize with attention to detail
Flexible and adaptable to change
