Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating weekends required. Schedule may vary by unit.

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional nursing care to a diverse patient population across telemetry, neuro, and med-surg units
Titrate cardiac drips and interpret EKGs to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Float between Chandler and Mercy Gilbert campuses as needed, ensuring seamless care transitions
Collaborate with charge nurses and clinical supervisors to manage patient assignments and prioritize care
Participate in orientation and pass a dysrhythmia exam and sim lab to ensure readiness
Monitor patients on centralized telemetry and respond to alarms promptly

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications are required
NIHSS certification preferred for neuro unit
Ability to titrate cardiac drips and interpret EKGs confidently
Experience with telemetry, med-surg, or float pool nursing

Knowledge & Skills

In-depth knowledge of cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia recognition, and telemetry
Strong skills in titrating cardiac drips (Amio, Cardene, Nitro, Heparin, Dobutamine)
Proficiency in interpreting EKGs and responding to changes
Excellent floating and adaptability skills to work across units and campuses
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
