Registered Nurse - Oncology PCU
Location: Omaha, NE
Start Date: 07-06-2026
End Date: 10-05-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, days (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) or nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), every other weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to oncology and trauma PCU patients
- Administer chemotherapy and monitor patient responses
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including PT/OT, case managers, and social workers
- Titrate drips such as insulin and cardizem as needed
- Float to med/surg and PCU units as required
- Perform hourly rounding to enhance patient experience
- Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate documentation
Qualifications
- Active RN license
- Minimum 1 year of experience in PCU and oncology nursing
- Chemotherapy certification (CHEMO CERT) required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- ONS/ONCC certification required
- EPIC experience preferred but not required
- First-time travelers welcome!
- Ability to pass an open-book exam with 90% during orientation

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, diverse environment
