Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality neuro critical care to patients in the Neuro ICU and IMCU/stepdown units
• Float between ICU and stepdown as unit needs dictate, maintaining continuity of care
• Manage patient assignments to meet the stated unit ratios (ICU 1:2; stepdown 3-4)
• Perform thorough neuro assessments and implement appropriate nursing interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and complete required skills checklists
• Ensure compliance with licensure verification and credentialing requirements during onboarding

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) status with required state licensure (Nursys license verification required)
• Minimum 2 years of specialty experience in Neuro ICU, IMCU, ICU, stepdown, or neuro critical care
• Work history/resume with no gaps greater than 60 days
• Provide Skills Checklist, References, and Certification Card as part of your profile
• Ability to float between ICU and stepdown units and work within the posted patient ratios
• Upload full demographic profile including a badge-appropriate picture for onboarding

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong neuro critical care knowledge and hands-on experience in Neuro ICU/IMCU settings
• Proven critical care and stepdown nursing skills, including patient assessment and monitoring
• Comfortable working in high-acuity environments and adapting to floating between units
• Familiarity with skills checklists, documentation standards, and credential verification processes
• Effective communication and teamwork with interdisciplinary clinical staff
