Location: Baudette, Minnesota
Start Date: 06-29-2026
End Date: 09-28-2026
Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM or 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, including every 3rd weekend and holiday
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to patients in both MedSurg and Emergency Department settings
- Admit, discharge, and transfer patients while ensuring smooth transitions
- Titrate medications including insulin, amiodarone, cardizem, and levopress
- Start IVs and manage PICC lines and ports
- Participate in code responses for cardiac, respiratory, stroke, and sepsis emergencies
- Interpret telemetry strips and document rhythm changes using Mindray monitors
- Collaborate with a small, dedicated team including CNAs and hospitalists
Qualifications
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
- Must have Emergency Department experience to float between units
- Active RN license in Minnesota
- Comfortable working independently with minimal staffing
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication titration and drip management
- Telemetry monitoring and EKG interpretation
- Trauma response and code participation
- Floating between MedSurg and ER units
- Proficiency with Meditech EMR
