Location: Garrison, ND

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Take charge as the lead nurse, overseeing resident care and coordinating with the care team
Administer medications accurately and safely to residents with various conditions
Perform wound care and document progress to promote healing
Provide compassionate support to residents with heart disease, diabetes, dementia, and other chronic conditions
Collaborate with DON and social worker to ensure individualized care plans

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Dakota or compact state
Current BLS certification
Minimum 1 year of long-term care experience
Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts including weekends and holidays

Knowledge & Skills

Strong charge nurse skills with ability to lead and delegate
Proficient in medication administration and wound care
Experience with Matrix EMR is a plus
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
