Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, holidays as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform vaginal exams and monitor labor progression
Place internal monitors and manage high-risk laboring/delivery patients
Circulate and recover C-section patients in the OR
Float to Mother Baby unit as needed to support the team
Titrate critical drips including Magnesium Sulfate, Pitocin, Insulin, and Heparin
Provide antepartum care and manage antepartum patients with varying acuity

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nevada (or compact state)
Current BLS, ACLS, AFM, and NRP certifications
Minimum 2 years of recent L&D experience
Proficient in vaginal exams, internal monitor placement, and high-risk deliveries
Independent and confident in circulating and recovering C-sections
Experience titrating drips and managing high-acuity patients

Knowledge & Skills

Vaginal exam and internal monitor placement
High-risk labor and delivery management
Antepartum care and couplet care
C-section circulation and recovery
Fetal monitoring strip interpretation (EFM system Cerner)
Titration of Magnesium, Pitocin, Insulin, Heparin
Ability to float to Mother Baby and other units
