End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, days or nights, block scheduling available, every other weekend (Days: Sat-Sun, Nights: Fri-Sat)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $80 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert care to laboring mothers and newborns in a fast-paced Birth Center
Attend and manage deliveries independently, including low-risk and high-risk births
Circulate during cesarean sections and assist with newborn transition
Monitor and titrate drips including Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin as needed
Care for postpartum couplets and support mother-baby bonding
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including OB hospitalists, neonatologists, and anesthesia

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent LDRP experience required (1 year with multiple travel assignments considered)
Active RN license in Washington or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Intermediate or advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring preferred
No first-time travelers - this role needs seasoned pros

Knowledge & Skills

Strong skills in labor management, delivery, and postpartum care
Proficient in fetal heart monitoring and interpretation
Ability to function independently in a busy unit
Comfortable titrating high-risk medications
Adaptable to unit workflows and open to feedback
