Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery
Location: Burien, Washington
Start Date: 07-06-2026
End Date: 10-05-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), every other weekend required
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $74 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to laboring mothers, postpartum patients, and newborns
- Triage and assess patients in the birth center
- Circulate during C-sections and assist in the OR
- Monitor and titrate medications such as Pitocin and Magnesium Sulfate
- Interpret fetal heart tracings and manage epidurals
- Collaborate with a supportive team of nurses, midwives, and physicians
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience
- Level 2 nursery experience required
- Ability to float within the birth center (triage, L&D, postpartum, nursery)
- Team player with a positive attitude
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in EPIC and Centricity Perinatal
- Skilled in circulating C-sections and scrubbing preferred
- Expertise in triage, labor management, and newborn transition
- Knowledge of AWHONN guidelines
