Location: Bakersfield, CA
Start Date: 07-06-2026
End Date: 10-05-2026
Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with rotating on-call and alternating weekends
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $82 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist Interventional Radiologists during imaging-guided procedures
- Coordinate the IR physician schedule and manage patient flow
- Collaborate with floor nurses and imaging techs for seamless patient care
- Administer sedation and monitor patients throughout procedures
- Place peripheral IVs and ensure patient comfort and safety
- Work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced, state-of-the-art radiology department
Qualifications
- Active California RN license
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Experience in Interventional Radiology strongly preferred
- Ability to work on-call shifts and rotating weekends
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency in Cerner EMR
- Experience with MRI Safe Pumps and EKG monitors
- Skilled in sedation monitoring and PIV placement
- Knowledge of interventional procedures including paras, thoras, biopsies, and drainages
- Patient coordination and scheduling
