Location: Kearney, Nebraska

End Date: 11-02-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM or 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM, rotating shifts, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
Monitor and interpret telemetry strips and vital signs
Titrate vasoactive drips and manage ventilator settings
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
Participate in patient education and family support

Qualifications

Valid RN license in Nebraska or compact state
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Minimum 1 year of ICU experience preferred
Ability to float to PCU or MedSurg as needed
Driver's license required for distance determination

Knowledge & Skills

ICU nursing and telemetry
Ventilator management
Titrating drips including cardiac and sedation medications
Familiarity with GE monitors
Comfortable with open book exam during orientation
