Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM or 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide critical care to trauma, cardiac, and stroke patients in a 33-bed ICU
Titrate cardiac drips, insulin, and sedation as needed
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry strips
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care
Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2-3 for adults
Float to PCU or MedSurg as needed, maintaining safe patient ratios

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Driver's license required for verification of residency (50-mile radius rule)
Minimum 1 year of ICU experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in reading and interpreting telemetry strips
Experience titrating critical care drips including cardiac, insulin, and sedation
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to care for patients on ventilators and high-flow oxygen
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
