Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, including weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide critical care to patients across multiple ICU settings including MICU, SICU, TICU, and CVICU
Titrate critical drips such as pressors, sedation, paralytics, antiarrhythmics, heparin, and insulin
Float within Zone 3 covering hospitals in the Denver metro area up to a 60-mile radius
Interpret telemetry strips and manage cardiac monitoring independently
Collaborate with charge nurses, RTs, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Adapt quickly to different facility protocols and patient populations

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of ICU experience (3+ years preferred for first-time travelers)
Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Comfortable titrating all critical drips and managing ventilated patients
Epic experience required for first-time travelers
Prior travel experience preferred but not required

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in caring for high-acuity patients including those on CRRT, IABP, and Impella
Proficiency in telemetry interpretation and strip reading
Strong floating and adaptability skills across different ICU units and hospitals
Excellent communication and teamwork in a dynamic environment
