Location: Sugar Land, TX
Start Date: 07-13-2026
End Date: 10-12-2026
Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 3x12-hour shifts per week, includes weekends as needed
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate emergency care to patients of all ages
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patients in a fast-paced environment
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
- Document patient information accurately and timely
- Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions
Qualifications
- Current RN license in the state of Texas (compact license accepted)
- BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA required
- Minimum of 1 year of recent ER experience preferred
- PALS certification highly recommended
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in emergency nursing assessments and interventions
- Knowledge of triage protocols and trauma care
- Comfortable with IV therapy, wound care, and cardiac monitoring
- Excellent teamwork and adaptability in high-stress situations
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
