Shift Type: 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, rotating days and nights, including weekends

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert emergency and trauma nursing care to a diverse patient population
Manage high-acuity cases including trauma, cardiac, and pediatric emergencies
Perform rapid assessments, start IVs, administer medications, and monitor telemetry
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Float between multiple ER facilities as needed (within 30 minutes drive)

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
At least 2 years of recent ER experience with Level 1 trauma
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (TNCC and ATCN preferred)
Must pass DYS exam and SIMs lab skills (Foley and central line dressing changes)
Comfortable with Cerner EMR and telemetry monitoring

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in trauma and emergency care protocols
Proficient in Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes
Strong ability to read telemetry strips
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Adaptable to fast-paced, high-acuity environments
