Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population in a high-acuity Level 1 Trauma Center
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and prioritize care in a fast-paced environment
• Administer IV therapy, manage central lines, and perform Foley catheter insertions with precision
• Monitor telemetry strips and interpret EKGs to detect changes in patient status
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, midlevels, and respiratory therapists
• Float between multiple ER facilities as needed, ensuring seamless patient care across sites

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience
• Minimum 6 months of Level 1 Trauma experience
• Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (ENPC does not replace PALS)
• Ability to pass the hospital's pass/fail exam on day 1 of orientation
• Comfort with sterile technique and SIMs lab skills (Foley insertion, central line dressing changes)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency in Cerner EMR and telemetry monitoring (Phillips)
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to adapt to floating between multiple campuses within a 30-minute radius
• Willingness to work weekends and rotating shifts
