Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), every other weekend and holiday required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate nursing care to a diverse mix of ED and MedSurg patients in a 22-bed unit
Perform patient assessments, administer medications, and titrate drips as ordered
Monitor telemetry and interpret cardiac rhythms independently
Float to ED holds and assist with charge nurse duties when needed
Collaborate with a supportive team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety protocols

Qualifications

At least one year of MedSurg experience required
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts including every other weekend and holiday
Willingness to float within the unit and to ED holds

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Experience with titrating common drips (e.g., heparin, insulin)
Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Adaptability to a fast-paced ED/MedSurg environment
