Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional nursing care in a fast-paced ED/MedSurg Swing unit
Titrate drips and monitor telemetry for acute patients
Collaborate with charge nurses and support staff to ensure patient safety
Float to ED holds as needed, showcasing your versatility
Maintain accurate patient records and communicate effectively with the healthcare team

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
At least one year of MedSurg experience required
BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA
Experience with drip titration and telemetry monitoring
Ability to work 12-hour shifts and every other weekend/holiday

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Proficiency in IV therapy, wound care, and patient education
Familiarity with NEBS, oxygen delivery, and CPAP/BiPAP equipment
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Adaptability to floating between ED and MedSurg units
