Physical Therapist - Inpatient/Outpatient
Location: Caldwell, TX
Start Date: 07-06-2026
End Date: 09-28-2026
Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, no weekends
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide skilled physical therapy services to a mix of inpatient and outpatient cases
- Treat conditions including ortho injuries, fractures, neuro cases, wounds, and general debility
- Collaborate with supportive nursing and therapy staff to optimize patient outcomes
- Precept new staff as needed by the unit
- Maintain productivity expectations of 7 treatment hours per day
Qualifications
- Active Texas Physical Therapy license
- National Physical Therapy license (or eligible)
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Wound care experience preferred but not required
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical skills in orthopedics, neurology, and wound care
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload including fractures, sports injuries, and post-surgical patients
- Comfortable working in a critical access hospital setting
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
