Pharmacy Technician – UHC Staffing

Pharmacy Technician

Location: Westminster, Colorado

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Variable shifts - Weekdays 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM, 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, and 1:00 PM - 11:30 PM. Every other weekend 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM or 10:00 AM - 8:30 PM. No double backs, nights not required.

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform sterile compounding to ensure patients receive safe, accurate medications
Restock Pyxis machines on nursing units and procedural areas so medications are always available when needed
Utilize Epic system to manage medication orders and maintain accurate records
Prepare and restock code trays and emergency kits to support rapid response teams
Answer phones and medication messages to keep communication flowing smoothly across the care team

Qualifications

Active Colorado Pharmacy Technician License
PTCB Certification required
Sterile compounding experience is a must
Epic experience strongly preferred
Pyxis experience is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Sterile compounding techniques
Epic electronic health record system
Pyxis medication dispensing system
Inpatient pharmacy operations
Attention to detail and accuracy
