Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, includes rotating weekends and holidays as needed

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Independently provide holistic, individualized care using the nursing process for antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, nursery, and post-op gynecology patients
Demonstrate clinical competency, nursing judgment, and teaching skills to improve patient outcomes
Perform the full scope of RN duties: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care under the supervision of the charge nurse
Manage supplies and equipment efficiently to ensure a safe unit environment
Promote teamwork and collaboration with physicians and hospital staff to deliver exceptional care

Qualifications

Current BLS, ACLS, Neonatal Resuscitation Certificate, and STABLE certifications
Minimum 1 year of acute care experience as an RN
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Active RN license in Maine (or compact state) - must be currently active
Effective written and oral communication skills and basic computer proficiency
COVID-19 vaccination required per state mandate
