Nurse Manager - Cath Lab and ICU

Location: Garden City, Kansas

Start Date: 07-13-2026

End Date: 10-12-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, with rotating on-call for weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $102 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Oversee both the Cath Lab and ICU departments, ensuring high-quality patient care
Lead and mentor nursing staff, fostering a positive and collaborative culture
Manage pre-procedure preparation and post-procedure recovery in the Cath Lab
Provide bedside procedure support and moderate sedation as needed
Enhance nursing competency through training and development initiatives
Collaborate with the CNO and unit managers to achieve departmental goals

Qualifications

Active RN license in Kansas (or compact state)
Minimum 1 year of management experience
Minimum 3 years of RN experience
At least 1 year of clinical leadership experience
ACLS, BLS, and RCIS certifications required (candidates without all may be considered)
NIHSS, TNCC, and CRRT competency preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Critical care and telemetry expertise
Proficiency in cardiac, vascular, EP, and IR procedures
Experience with vasoactive drugs and common titratable drips
Ability to read telemetry strips and monitor patients
Strong leadership and team-building skills
Knowledge of fluoro license requirements for technical staff
