Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Thursday-Sunday, 8:00 PM - 6:00 AM NOC
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform blood type and antibody screening on patient samples to ensure safe transfusions
- Conduct crossmatches and complex antibody identifications to resolve challenging cases
- Prepare and modify blood components including syringes and aliquots for patient needs
- Maintain accurate records and follow facility policies for transfusion services
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in a blood bank setting
- Proficiency in type and screens, crossmatches, and antibody identifications
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
Knowledge & Skills
- Blood Bank experience
- Meditech Laboratory Information System
- Ortho manual gel technique
- ProVue or Vision automation
