Roles & Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain complete vital signs including 12-lead EKGs
• Prepare charts and document encounters in EPIC, supporting smooth clinic flow
• Administer immunizations and intramuscular injections per protocol
• Collect and label specimens (urine, clean catch) and assist with point-of-care testing (glucometer, strep)
• Support clinicians during procedures and help set up aseptic trays when needed
• Handle scheduling, follow-up phone calls, and other administrative tasks to keep care coordinated
• Stock supplies and maintain exam rooms so clinicians can focus on patients
• Communicate effectively with outside facilities and physicians to coordinate patient care

Qualifications

• Active WA MA-C license required (must be valid prior to start)
• BLS preferred; CMA credential a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication — frequent coordination with outside providers
• Strong administrative and scheduling experience required — please highlight this on your profile
• Comfortable using EPIC charting (preferred but not strictly required)
• Able to reliably work the posted schedule and resolve any childcare/transportation constraints before start
• New grads welcome as long as MA-C license is held
• Local and travel candidates accepted only if located in Washington state

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient rooming and geriatric primary care workflows
• Obtaining vital signs, height/weight, pulse oximetry and hearing/vision screens
• 12-lead EKG acquisition and basic interpretation workflow
• Administering immunizations and intramuscular injections
• Specimen collection, labeling, and basic point-of-care testing (glucometer, strep, UA)
• Chart preparation and EPIC documentation (including in-basket tasks)
• Scheduling, follow-up phone calls, and general administrative support
• Assisting with biopsies, dressing changes, pap smears and sterile tray setup
