Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living to help residents maintain dignity
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility while promoting independence
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes in condition to the care team promptly
• Document care accurately and timely in the resident record to support continuity of care
• Support safe transfers and implement proper lift and positioning techniques
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver person-centered care
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection prevention and control practices
• Engage residents with respectful communication and meaningful interactions to boost quality of life

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) or equivalent state certification required
• T-LNA or Travel LNA experience is a plus and shows you thrive on assignment work
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and any facility-specific onboarding
• Reliable, professional, and compassionate attitude with strong teamwork skills
• Comfortable working evenings and able to meet the every-other-weekend requirement

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of an approved LNA training program and active state certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on resident care and assistance with ADLs
• Basic vital signs assessment and documentation
• Infection control practices and safe handling of linens and waste
• Effective verbal communication and charting in electronic medical records
• Safe transfer, positioning, and use of mobility equipment
• Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs during a shift
• Team collaboration and clear reporting to nursing staff
